The UP unit of the BJP has already asked its MLAs to donate salary for the victims. Lok Sabha secretariat too, may contribute one day’s pay of all officials to the PM relief fund.

While the Congress-run state government of Uttarakhand is grappling with the crisis, the Congress has decided to garner additional help from its other state units.
