Anoop (21), Govind (23) and Satish Kumar (23), were arrested from near a public convenience unit in Sultanpuri, the police said. One knife and blood- stained clothes have been recovered from them, a senior police official said.

The trio had stabbed to death 32-year-old Babloo, a resident of Sultanpuri, and Ramesh alias Lambu (35), a resident of Sector-1, Avantika last Saturday at their home, the official said. Both the deceased were pickpockets and drug addicts, the official added.

"During interrogation, the accused disclosed that they had murdered both the deceased as they had slapped them," said MI Rizwi, additional DCP-I, outer district.
