Tremors shook Delhi late on Tuesday night as a high intensity earthquake hit southwestern Pakistan. The earthquake which measured 7.2 on the Richter Scale had its epicenter in southwestern Pakistan, the India Meteorological Department said in New Delhi.
The quake hit the region at
1:53am.
Residents, particularly living in high-rise buildings, rushed out of their homes as the tremors were felt in the national capital.
There was no immediate reports of any loss of life or property.
