Two more held for defence colony heist

The Delhi Police have arrested two more persons in connection with the R5.25-crore Defence Colony cash van heist. One of the five main accused, Yogesh alias Hari Om, is still absconding.

Ram Singh, 30, and Ajay, 32, residents of east Delhi's Mandawali and Vinod Nagar, were arrested on Friday from their residences for allegedly receiving around R25 lakh from Yogesh.

Their arrest led to the recovery of Rs. 13.50 lakh from their possession, said police.

The Delhi police have so far arrested 14 persons, including four main accused, in connection with the sensational multi-crore cash van heist.

The heist took place on September 28. Guard Munne Singh was shot at and Rs. 5.25 crore  was robbed along with a van in which the cash was being transported from one branch to another.

Bugging issue should be probed: Manmohan
