Police are still clueless about the blind-murder of a Class 9 student who was found murdered under mysterious circumstances on his birthday on December 3. B Naveen Rao had turned 15 years old the day he was found dead inside his flat at Rajendra Nagar area of Ghaziabad. Police said a heavy object was used to kill him.
Senior police officials said they are clueless about the culprits and the motive behind the murder.
During its investigations, the police found out some drops of blood from the scene of crime leading to a nearby flat. The flat occupant had told police that his wife has suffered a thumb injury on the same day and the blood was hers.
"The blood group of the minor and the neighbour's wife matched - both were A-positive. We have ordered for further DNA testing of their samples. But as of now we don't have anything substantial in the case," senior superintendent of police (SSP) Raghubir Lal said.
