Police have apprehended the juvenile duo and produced them before the juvenile justice board that sent them to an observation home for boys. According to a senior police officer, Akash had befriended the sister of one of the two apprehended juvenile friends and it had become the cause for arguments.

On Friday evening, an argument broke out between the two friends over the same issue. The argument soon turned ugly and one of the juvenile accused overpowered Akash, while the other stabbed him.
