Three juveniles were apprehended for their alleged involvement in burglaries committed in two houses in South Delhi localities, police said on Saturday.

Roshan Sarkar Bhalla, a 43-year-old woman, who used to receive the stolen property from the juveniles has also been arrested.

Police have also recovered stolen gold, silver jewellery and valuables from their possession.

The action came on two separate complaints filed by residents of South Moti Bagh and Vasant Vihar that their houses had been broken when they had been out of station.

"During the course of investigation, the team inspected the scenes of crime minutely and concluded that some children may be involved in these burglaries as the size of broken window grills was around 6-7 inches," a senior police official said.
