BJP activists on Monday dragged the golden chariot within the precincts of the Manakula Vinayakar temple as a mark of celebrating the 83rd birthday of party veteran LK Advani, party sources said.
BJP's Puducherry unit president SPK Damodar and youth wing leader Sivanandam were among those who offered prayers at the deity of Vinayakar at the shrine.
