Muktsar police seizes 4 kgs contraband opium

Muktsar district police arrested one notorious criminal and seizes four kgs of contraband opium worth Rs. 8 lakh in the international market last night.


The accused identified as Udhey Lal from Chittorgarh,Rajasthan.

Whereas Nihal Singh Wala Police of Moga district intercepts one truck and recovered one kgs of contraband opium worth Rs. 2 lakh.
Muktsar District Police Chief Surjit Singh today claimed of the recovery of four kgs of contraband opium by the CIA staff police party of Malout.
According to Moga police Chief Surjit Singh Grewal,they arrested a truck driver, Manjit Singh of Ludhiana on suspicion.
The investigation reveals that Manjit Singh was a notorious smuggler and frequently used to visit Moga to provide the narcotic to his permanent customer.
