A 55-year-old woman was crushed to death after she and her husband were allegedly pushed out of a moving train by a sub inspector and constable of RPF at Muzaffarnagar railway station on Wednesday morning.

A case of culpable homicide has been registered against the RPF policemen under section 304 of IPC.

The couple had mistakenly boarded the Shatabdi Express.

According to the victim's husband Rajeshwar Tyagi, the two RPF personnel, who were travelling in the same train, asked them to get down immediately and pushed the couple out.

Tyagi managed to save himself, but his wife allegedly lost her balance and got crushed under the moving train.
