One person was killed and four others injured in a blast in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district on Wednesday, police said.
"The blast occurred in a crowded municipal market of Alipurduar," Inspector General (Law and Order) Raj Kanojia told IANS.
He said the casualty figures could go up. Unconfirmed reports said the blast was triggered by an explosive device kept in a bicycle.
