Loyalty test: 20 burn hands in oil, 2 arrested

Two persons have been arrested in connection with Tuesday night’s incident in which 20 persons received burn injuries after they dipped their hands in hot oil to convince a defeated panchayat poll candidate that they had voted for him, police said on Wednesday.

Dinesh Parmar, the candidate who lost, and Amrut Parmarhave been arrested in this connection.

Pravin Parmar lodged a complaint against the duo, an Ambaliyaara police station official said.
