“When the manager asked for an advance payment, accused Kapoor told him to send a salesman along with him to his office. He also requested him to send 15 gold bracelets for his boss’s final approval,” said the store manager.

The salesman along with the accused reached Galleria Market commercial tower. Kapoor asked the salesman to wait near the lift and went to seek permission to enter the office.

He returned and told the salesman to hand him the gold bracelets so that he could get the approval from his boss. The salesman waited for hours but the accused did not turn up. When he inquired about the address, it was found to be fake.
