“The men were arrested on Friday and Saturday and produced in a local court on Monday. They were taken into two days’ police remand,” said DCP (west), Surinder Pal.

Apart from Pardeep Singh and Kaidar, who are in the police net, a manhunt has been launched to nab the third accused, Neeraj.

According to the police, Pardeep contacted the victim in December 2012 and offered her a job at a call centre, along with a three-day training before joining the BPO.

The police complaint registered by the victim’s family said that Singh had asked the victim not to inform her kin about the call. Later, Singh accompanied her to a rented accommodation and raped her at gun point in Delhi along with his friend Neeraj.

“Singh held the woman hostage for three months where she was gang-raped. When she tried to resist, she was forced to marry Singh’s younger brother, Kaidarnath, who also raped her,” Pal said.

The victim managed to flee on March 24 and reached Gurgaon. She did not tell anything to her family until Saturday when she narrated the entire incident. Later, a case was registered at Sector 5 police station.

Meanwhile, the Sector 5 police booked a 17-year-old on Sunday for allegedly abducting and raping a 16-year-old girl who had gone missing under mysterious circumstances on May 28. The accused was arrested and produced in a local court on Monday morning. He was sent to a juvenile home in Faridabad.
