Organisers at the Enrique Iglesias concert have accused a police officer of beating up some up of their colleagues and volunteers after they denied entry to his guests without proper passes.

Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias had performed for his fans at a sold-out concert on Wednesday night in the city.

Concert organisers, Bobby and Vijay, said that the ACP-rank officer and his men slapped and then beat up their colleagues when the guests were not allowed entry without proper passes.

They, however, added that apart from this stray incident involving the officer, police were very helpful otherwise when it came to providing security in and around the area.
