Man films city bizman in nude, held for trying to extort money

A 24-year-old management graduate from Ahmedabad was arrested by the Mumbai police crime branch on Thursday for trying to extort money from a city-based businessman after recording him in the nude using a webcam.

The accused, Nikhil Lala, posed as a woman on a messenger group to befriend the victim and then used an UK-based website to blackmail him. 

Lala created fake email IDs and used them to chat with the victim on Yahoo messenger, said inspector Nandkumar Gopale.

The accused pretended to be a girl and video taped his victim in the nude during one of their chats. He then asked the businessman for money by threaten-ing to upload the pictures online.
