Delhiites woke up to dense fog and a chilly morning on Wednesday with many parts of the city experiencing low visibility in the morning hours.
The minimum temperature was recorded as 4.4 degrees, three degrees below normal.
The skies cleared out by 10 am and the sun shone throughout the day. The maximum temperature was recorded as a pleasant 20.2 degrees, a degree below normal.
The dense fog in the city troubled many people in the morning. "The fog was unexpected as we have been seeing clear weather for a few days. Driving my kids to school early in the morning is very difficult in such weather. The intense cold in the morning is also very troublesome especially for young kids," said Kavita Mehta, a mother of two, who lives in Mayur Vihar.
