Ahead of his indefinite fast next week, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal is set to meet Anna Hazare on Monday and seek his blessings.

Along with the veteran anti-graft activist, Kejriwal had whipped up a storm through the India Against Corruption campaign since 2011, before parting ways in 2012.

Even when Kejriwal had floated the Aam Aadmi Party though Hazare was not seen happy with it, he had claimed to having always looked up to Hazare.

Now ahead of his March 23 indefinite fast - he prefers to call it as upwaas (fast) and not anshan (hunger strike) -Kejriwal is set to meet Hazare at his Ralegan Siddhi village.

"Yes, Arvind is going tomorrow to Ralegan Siddhi to seek Anna's blessings," confirmed Manish Sisodia, AAP spokesperson.

Return to the roots? Departing from his earlier announcement of a 'roving' fast, Kejriwal will be staying put at one place - at Sunder Nagari - for his indefinite hunger strike from March 23 against rising power and water bills in the national Capital.

"In view of his health condition, the doctors have advised against it (roving fast)," Sisodia said.Kejriwal, a diabetic, and Sisodia had earlier fasted in July 2012, in Hazare's presence at Jantar Mantar before parting ways. But it was an agitation where they were seated at one place throughout.

'Sunder Nagari', a redevelopment slum cluster, in east Delhi was where Kejriwal and Sisodia along with others had embarked on grassroot activism vis-à-vis Right to Information (RTI) Act since 2005 through 'Parivartan' campaign.
