The police rescued the child, Junaid, on Tuesday from Delhi after Anita, the doctor who allegedly sold the child to the family for Rs. 50,000, was taken into police remand.

The UP police took Anita in remand from Tihar jail where she was lodged in connection with another case.

The child was abducted from Kidwai Nagar locality. Four persons, including two women, had earlier been arrested in connection with this case.
