Bharti Infratel, the tower arm of Bharti Airtel, today said it will talk to the telecom units of Reliance Industries to lease out its towers, a top official of the company said.

The government-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has accused Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular of forming a cartel in 2010 for bidding in the auction for 3G spectrum. This is part of the affidavit filed by the company in the Supreme Court in the ongoing 3G roaming case, reports Manoj Gairola.

Vodafone India today launched roaming packs for its pre-paid customers across the country, wherein incoming calls will be charged at 30 paise per minute and outgoing calls will be charged at 90 paise per minute while roaming.
The Supreme Court on Monday issued notices to the Centre and TRAI on a plea seeking direction to fix cost-based tariff as cap for SMSes. The notice was issued on a plea alleging telecom operators were charging “arbitrary” rates.
