An estimated 92.05% votes were cast under Akrabon-Salgarah assembly constituency on Monday where re-polling was ordered by the Election Commission.
Brisk polling was reported in the polling station no 36 as voters lined up.
The re-polling had to be necessitated as the
EVM did not function properly on the day of February 14 assembly elections in Tripura, official sources said.
Tripura witnessed the elections for the 60-member assembly constituency on February 14 last with more than 93% voters having cast their votes.
