Book the right hotel at the right time and the right place.
1 Location: Location is of utmost importance: If the hotel is situated centrally but is very expensive then look for hotels further off but with easy transport available or closer to the railway station or
airport, whichever suits your travel plans.
2 Read reviews: Reviews reveal the real problems of a hotel such as water leakage, size of the rooms, cleanliness and safety. So, read online reviews on travel portals as it’ll will help you know both the good and bad things about the place and make an informed decision.
3 Plan of action: Before you book your hotel, ask yourself what are you going to be doing? If your itinerary requires you to be out all day then you could opt for something significantly cheaper and is just good enough for a good night’s sleep.
4 Specify your special needs: Be very specific when you make special requests at the time of booking. For instance, specify if you need a corner room, a wheel chair or an extra bed. It is always better to ensure that all your needs are met, before you make the payment.
