The team of Khichdi -The Movie, turned up to meet Shah Rukh Khan at his residence on Friday, but was denied entry. Producer Jamnadas Majethia had sent a letter to the superstar, requesting him to unveil their film’s first look. But even after reading out the letter to the security, they were refused entry.

Reportedly, Khan was home and aware of who had come calling. Majethia says that this is the first time a serial is being turned into a feature film and since SRK had successfully made the transition from the small screen to big screen, they wanted his good wishes. 
 
Interestingly, the star’s good friend, director-choreographer Farah Khan, plays a cameo in Khichdi – The Movie.
