Simple yet classy and with a royal feel to it. That’s actress Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s wedding invite, which is ready to reach their guests. Delhi-based designer Ravish Kapoor,
the brain behind card, tells HT City, “Shilpa, Raj and their families helped the decision making on the design go very fast and the design process took about a month.”

According to Kapoor, “I showed them some dummy designs and they gave me a feedback on what they wanted. Going by that I showed them a final dummy and they instantly agreed to it.” “Since Shilpa is fond of blue colour, and wanted a royal feel for the card, we coloured it blue. The card also has some Sanskrit shlokas since the couple is heavily into spirituality. We have put the couples’ intials on the flap on their request,” he says. Kapoor further adds, “Shilpa, Raj and their  families are extremely thrilled with the card. I even received a lovely thank you letter from the couple expressing their delight over the card.”

While 1,000 cards have been sent out for the wedding reception, 150 have been distributed for the mehendi and the sangeet ceremonies wherein only close friends, and family and relatives have been invited.

Not just that, choreographer Ganesh Hegde will see everyone's dance moves at the sangeet ceremony in Khandala on November 21.
