Defending world champion Sebastian Vettel set the second fastest and fastest time in the two 90 minute practice sessions at the European Grand Prix at the Valencia street circuit today.
Sebastian Vettel took pole position for the European Grand Prix at the Valencia street cicruit after outqualifying Lewis Hamilton and Pastor Maldonado in an incredibly close qualifying session where the second fastest to tenth fastest driver in the classification was seperated by just 0.582 seconds.
When Lewis Hamilton laid his eyes on the Le Mans winning McLaren F1 GTR in the Woking based team's headquarters, he could not resist asking his boss Ron Dennis for one. Dennis agreed on the condition that Hamilton win at least three F1 titles for his team. HT reports.
