N.Rosberg
He may be the son of former world champion Keke Rosberg, but this German driver wouldn't want to give up his racing gloves without making a name for himself in Formula 1.
Nico Rosberg burst into the scene with a points-on-debut performance in 2006. Driving for Williams, he finished just one more race in points that season and ended up at a lowly 17th spot on the standings. In 2007, Rosberg had a fresh start and finished in points more consistently to end up 9th overall. The following year saw him bag two podiums and in 2009, the Williams racer showed marked pace to register his best result in the standings (7th). Amongst the drivers who didn't win races last year, Rosberg was by far the most consistent.
In 2010, he has made a switch to Mercedes GP after four years with Williams. Being a supremely talented and promising driver himself, the German came of age racing alongside a seven-time champion.
However, his strong results in an uncompetitive car were overshadowed by Schumacher's inability to get the team going. It was even more unfair when he was the only driver in the team to have been on the podium and that too thrice! Both Rosberg and Mercedes are gunning for a maiden win, and it would be no surprise if Rosberg achieves it for them.
