Robin Williams and Elijah Wood are in talks to reprise their roles as lead voices in sequel to Oscar winning film Happy Feet.
Happy Feet 2, a sequel to the 2006 animated hit, will see George Miller back in the director's chair, The Hollywood Reporter said. Wood will be reprising Mumble, the penguin who can't sing but can dance and Williams will be back as the hyper-active and wise-cracking penguin Ramon and also voicing Lovelace.
Miller is done with the new script, whose details are being kept under wraps. Animal Logic again is at the helms of the animation in the film. The actors will travel to Australia in late January or early February to record the voice tracks.
The original Happy Feet grossed almost USD 198 million at the boxoffice, winning a slew of awards and landing on numerous year top 10 lists. Wood, recently wrapped the ensemble indie drama The Romantics, with Katie Holmes, Anna Paquin and Adam Brody. He voice also was heard in the animated fantasy 9 released earlier this year.
Williams is onscreen in Disney's Old Dogs and is attached to star in the studio's comedy Wedding Banned.
