Railways lifted the overall trophy in the 52nd National Open Athletics Championships in Chennai on Thursday. Services finished runners-up, and the ONGC were third.
Services high jumper Jithin C Thomas and Railways' middle distance runner Tintu Luka were adjudged the best male and
female athlete, respectively.
Top body builders likely for meet
Top professional body builders, including Phil Heath and Kai Green, are expected to participate in the Sheru Classic Professional Championship to be held in New Delhi on October 6.
The event, which will feature competition in four categories, offers total prize money of $210,000.
