Salman Khan's fans in Pakistan may not get a chance to see the promos of his next big film
Ek Tha Tiger
on TV as the Pakistani Government has ordered cable operators across the country to refrain from screening promos and reviews of the film. The reason behind this move by the Pakistani Govt.
is because it feels that the film portrays ISI in a bad way.
A letter issued by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority, the country's media regulatory watchdog, has asked all cable operators and TV channels not to screen any promo of
Ek Tha Tiger
. In the film, Salman plays a RAW agent who is sent to Pakistan to track a college professor's activities, who is suspected of selling missile technology secrets to Pakistan.
Needless to say Salman has a huge fan following in Pakistan and it remains to be seen if the film gets a release in Pakistan as well on 15 August.
