Bangalore-based Robert Bosch India Ltd, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, Germany, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) in Coimbatore seeking cooperation in various fields.
Both would establish a 'joint working group', try
to develop strategic linkages, assist students and enhance their knowledge about the latest technologies available with Bosch, a CIT release said on Saturday.
A team from Bosch and CIT would jointly identify and reward the best project for final year engineering students.
The institute would provide space to Bosch to display its books on technology, magazines, posters and related material, which would be named as 'Bosch Corner,' it said.
A seven member team from Bosch--four from Germany and three from Bangalore-- had visited the institute to know about the Research and Development activities, laboratory facilities, students' project and the faculty strength, it added.
