The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) is planning to take action against five clubs that changed their names and ownership over the last three years without informing the executive committee.
A sum of R 25,000 is to be deposited and the permission of the executive committee
sought if the name of the club is to be changed.
Daryaganj Gym, Inborn, South Delhi, JN Golden and Pahari Dheeraj were renamed without the committee’s knowledge. At the ad-hoc meeting Tuesday, the DDCA decided that action would be taken against the clubs. Sneh Bansal, the DDCA general secretary, said, “The previous sports committee must have done it without approval.”
