Sharmila Tagore threw a formal reception in Delhi for her newly wed son Saif Ali Khan and his bride, Kareena Kapoor. While Saif looked every bit the nawab in a black bandhgala, Kareena looked absolutely beautiful in a pink embellished garara.
Being an actor has its benefits. But then their personal time table goes for a toss too. Actor Saif Ali Khan (right) however makes sure to take out time to spend with his family.
“The most important thing in life is balance. I’m never really happy until I spend time with my children (Sara and
Ibrahim), my wife and with myself. It’s not really difficult to do. You have to keep doing the right thing at the right time and so far I’ve been lucky,” the 42-year-old tell us.
Prod him more on how does he cull out time for actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, his wife of five months, considering their hectic schedules, Saif says, “We love having our individual careers but then we also make sure that then we have time that we spend together. It comes in the right dosage. We spend a couple of days in the week working and then we spend the weekend together and then go back to work. It’s not very difficult to plan.”
Work wise, Saif is keeping busy with projects such as Go Goa Gone and Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullet Raja. He also has films with directors such as Sajid Khan, Prabhu Deva and Kabir Khan in his kitty. “There’s much going on really,” says the actor, who has also shot an ad for Lay’s new flavour Chile Limon recently. “We are also negotiating for the rights of an international book, which is kind of a detective story,” says Saif, who is also hoping to bring his sister Soha on board in his production house, Illuminati Films “if something good comes up in terms of a script”.
