The remaining four accused in the December 16 gangrape case were chargesheeted in a court in a separate case of robbery by the Delhi Police on Friday.
Before raping the woman on December 16, the six men in the bus had first robbed a 35-year-old carpenter of his money and mobile phone.
The chargesheet was filed before Metropolitan Magistrate Akash Singh during closed-door proceedings.
The magistrate took cognisance of the report and posted the matter for further hearing on March 28.
Ram Singh, who was the main accused in the gangrape case as well as the robbery case, allegedly committed suicide on March 11 in Tihar Jail. The court had thereafter abated the proceedings against him.
The police, in its 15-page chargesheet, has given the details of carpenter Ram Adhar was allegedly robbed by the accused in the bus on December 16 and later thrown out of the moving vehicle.
According to the police, the five accused — bus driver Ram Singh, his brother Mukesh and their accomplices Vinay Sharma, Pawan Gupta and Akshay Singh and a juvenile — had snatched Ram Adhar’s mobile phone and Rs. 1,500 after luring him into the bus. Adhar was on his way to his Sangam Vihar home around 8.45 am from his workplace in Munirka on December 16, when he was lured into the bus by the juvenile conductor. The juvenile told him that the bus was going to Nehru Place.
When he entered the bus, Ram and Akshay took him to the back of the bus where he was beaten up by Vinay and Pawan and robbed. The juvenile also tore away his clothes and snatched his phone, after which he threw Ram Adhar out of the bus at IIT flyover.
The juvenile has been named in the robbery case but a separate chargesheet has been filed against him before the Juvenile Justice Board.
