The 23-year-old paramedical student was gang-raped in a moving bus and later died in a Singapore hospital, creating massive outcry and protests across the nation.
The juveniles' court in the Capital finished the hearing the case of the tennage accused, alleged to be the most brutal of the six men who raped the girl.
The accused, aged 17 at the time of the crime, may face a maximum sentence of three years in a correctional facility if found guilty.
Delhi Police had on December 29, 2012 invoked murder charges against the six men - Ram Singh, Mukesh Singh, Pawan Gupta, Akshay Kr Singh and the juvenile (name withheld) for being allegedly involved in the gangrape and filed the chargesheet in court on January 3.

The Justice Verma Panel, was set up in the wake of the brutal gangrape, had rejected the popular demand for the death penalty or chemical castration for the offence, recommending a life sentence. It had also advised making a range of offences like stalking and marital rape punishable under criminal law.
The victim and her friend on December 16, were returning from a film show in a multiplex in Saket when they boarded a chartered bus. The six men assaulted the couple, raped the woman and then threw them off the moving bus.
The condition of the rape victim continued to deteriorate, as the doctors at Safdurjung Hospital kept a tab on her constantly dropping pulse rate.
According to sources, she had suffered from bradycardia, with her pulse rate reducing, but then she recovered within minutes.
After bravely fighting her injuries in India, she was later transferred to Singapore's Mount Elizabeth Hospital where she died of multi-organ failure on December 29.
