Aamir Khan, who is playing a ventriloquist in a new commercial, has learnt the art of throwing his voice from veteran puppeteer Ramdas Padhya.
Aamir is dressed as a ventriloquist in the ad and pulls off
some funny acts.
No prizes for guessing that it was Aamir's idea to get himself trained from Ramdas. "When he got to know he was supposed to do this for the commercial, he asked the production people to call in Ramdas so that he could learn his skills," says an insider.
Few people know that Aamir had been a big admirer right from the time Ramdas used to do a show on Doordarshan. Aamir will also be dressed the way Ramdas used to in the 1970s and 80s, with long sideburns and sport a hairstyle Ramdas was known for.
