The national selectors on Tuesday sent a strong message to former Indian captains Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly that their ODI careers are as good as over by not naming them in the list of 30 probables for the Champions Trophy slated in Pakistan in September. Dravid and Ganguly have not figured in
the limited overs for nearly a year
However, 35-year-old Sachin Tendulkar, the inspirational figure for the young Team India in the triumphant CB series early this year, is the only member from the unshakeable Test middle-order who is named in the list.

Irfan Pathan, who was axed from the Test squad for Sri Lanka made it to the probables list for the Champions Trophy.
