Actress Preity Zinta has denied reports that Kings XI Punjab will be put on sale after the end of the third season of the Indian Premier League. She wrote on the microblogging site Twitter that the news about Videocon's interest in the team is also incorrect.
"How many times d (the) news
has 2 be WRONG about our stake sale! First Hero Honda & now Videocon! Speaks a lot for d (the) quality of news in d (the) country," she wrote on Twitter.
After Kings XI Punjab's poor show in the IPL third season, rumours were doing the rounds that the four owners - Bombay Dyeing managing director Ness Wadia, Zinta, Mohit Burman from Dabur India and Karan Paul from Apeejay Group - are planning to sell their stakes.
