The much-awaited Bandra-Worli sea link will become a tourist spot as the the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) intends to start a ferry trip to the sea link from Bandra-Kurla Complex after its opened this month. "A business man or an executive while driving to his office
can enjoy the view of the Bandra-Worli sea link but what about the common man how can he see it," asked BEST's Chairman Dilip Patel.

"We have planned an open deck bus tour of the bridge for the citizens. The ferry would start from one of the business hub's in the city-Bandra-Kurla Complex to Worli Sea Face and can accommodate nearly 38 to 40 passengers and would cost them Rs. 15-20," Patel said.

The transport unit has five open-deck buses, which were given to it by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) for the growth of tourism in the city.

"We would use our five open double-decker bus which will cruise across the bridge. This will surely boost public transport and tourism," Patel said.
