“The campaign is designed to raise funds to aid the internal security forces ... by mobilising millions ... on November 26,” Sanjeev Aga, MD, Idea Cellular, told the HT.
Idea will launch its campaign, ‘Talk for India Hour’, from Sunday night on TV and radio. The firm has 50 million subscribers. On a normal working day, it earns a revenue of about Rs. 3 crore during the hour. Aggressive campaigning is expected to push up revenues.
