New Communication and IT Minister A Raja on Wednesday resolved to continue with the policies of his predecessor Dayanidhi Maran while giving top priority to rural telephony.
"My top priority would be rural telephony...To provide facility to the lowest ebb of the people," Raja said while
assuming office in New Delhi.
Maran, who resigned on Sunday, was in the process of initiating a host of measures like doing away with roaming charges and introduction of 3G policy.
