Have you read the Srikrishna commission report? What do you think about the six options given?
I saw it, but what is there to analyse? It's an idiotic, ambiguous report where one option favours united Andhra Pradesh with development boards, and the other says Telangana could be separated. Union home minister P Chidambaram tried convincing me but I was not ready (to buy the tactics or the report's double talk).

Your demand now is the Telangana bill in the budget session. Do you believe the Congress will bring in the bill?
Parliament is the highest democratic forum where finance minister Pranab Mukherjee and Chidambaram made statements to the extent of forming Telangana. If you go back on commitments resulting from genuine, democratic demands of the people, it is nothing but a shame of Indian democracy before the whole world.

Did you talk to Sonia Gandhi? You earlier said you would merge the TRS with Congress if she agreed to Telangana.
My statements were misinterpreted; I only said we will be grateful to the Congress.

Will you be chief minister if Telangana is formed?
The present assembly numbers will not allow me to become chief minister. I earlier said that a Dalit would be made the first CM (KCR is a Velama, a landlord caste). Before the glory I receive as one who achieved Telangana, what is the CM's post?

What is your take on the present political situation in the state?
Kiran Reddy is a bad choice. As it appears now, it would not be long before the mid-term elections (are held) in the state. Jaganmohan seems to have strength and connect.

There is talk that you will be allying with Jaganmohan…
So far, there is no such discussion.

Who is responsible for the crisis in the state now?
All this violence (clashes, students getting hurt, suicides) is because of the Congress not  sticking to its CMP commitment in 2004.
