Girl raped, accused arrested in Jammu

A girl was allegedly raped and the accused was arrested in Kanachak area on the city outskirts at this winter capital of the state.
"The victim, resident of Rabta Ghrota on Sunday lodged a complaint with the police that Sham Lal alias Shama, allegedly raped her following which a case was
registered and manhunt was launched to apprehend the accused," police here said on Monday.
After simultaneous raids, the accused was arrested while the girl was handed over to family members after medical examination, they added.
