Kejriwal's comment on MPs echoes the common man's views
I fail to understand why our political leaders are slamming Arvind Kejriwal for his remarks on the Members of Parliament (Kejriwal slammed for remark on MPs, February 27). The activist isn't saying anything new;
he's just echoing the views of the common man. During his election campaign in Uttar Pradesh, Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi repeatedly told the voters that the Centre sends a lot of funds to the state. But UP continues to remain backward. The political class of UP, whom Gandhi calls corrupt, was elected by the people. Congress president Sonia Gandhi called the elected representatives of Gujarat "maut ke saudagar". But these people were also elected by the people of Gujarat. Our elected representatives are destroying democracy and Kejriwal is just pointing to the source of the rot.

Introspect, don't blame
With reference to Gopalkrishna Gandhi's Packing quite a punch (Incidentally, February 25), we are responsible for our problems and, so, it is best not to blame others, especially outsiders. We must introspect on the way ahead and how better we can improve the lives of the people of the country. But first the powerful must own up to their mistakes and start afresh.

Sensitise the police force
With reference to the editorial Accomplices to the crime (Our Take, February 28), the Noida Police has done a grave mistake by disclosing the identity of a rape victim. Have the custodians of law become custodians of morality? Policemen must be sensitised on such issues and should be punished in case they fail to live up to their responsibilities.
