THE BHOPAL division of Railway has decided to run special trains for three days between Bhopal and Hoshangabad in view of the Somwati Amavasya.
As devotees would rush to Hoshangabad for the holy dip, the trains would be run from November 19 to 21. The first special would start from
Bhopal at 3:45 am and reach Hoshangabad at 05:40 am. The second special train would leave Hoshangabad at 6 am and reach Bhopal at 8:20 am.
Another train would leave Bhopal at 6:20 in the evening and reach Hoshangabad at 9 am. The fourth train would leave Hoshangabad at 9:30 pm and arrive at Bhopal at 11:25 pm. All the three days these trains would run between Hoshangabad and Bhopal.
The trains would stop at Habibganj, Misrod, Mandideep, Obaidullahganj, Barkheda and Budhni stations. Besides, the Jabalpur-Habibganj Jan-Shatabdi Express would stop at Shreedham railway station from December 1. The halt has been announced on an experimental basis for six months, according to a press release issued on Wednesday.
