Dhoni set to tie the knot tonight

He is young heartthrob and also a stunt lover, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Indian Cricket  Team  Captain like a real ‘stuntman’ is all set to tie a knot with
his girlfriend  Sakshi  Rawat in the outskirts of Dehradun today, after he got engaged with her on Saturday evening.

According  to one of Dhoni’s childhood friend, Dhoni is ‘all set to marry  his  love  today  evening  at  a  plush  resort  in the outskirts of Dehradun’.  In fact most of the family members of Dhoni arrived Dehradun on Saturday  while  Dhoni’s  uncle  who  hails  from  a village near Almora in Uttarakhand had reached with his family earlier.

“Dhoni  send  a SMS yesterday telling he has got engaged with Sakshi and a second  message  from  him  said he is marrying on Sunday” told one of the Dhoni’s  childhood  friend, to Hindustan Times over phone from New Delhi on Sunday. He and Dhoni were students at DAV Shamily in Ranchi.

Guests have started reaching at the marriage venue. HT team spotted cine star John Abhraham riding in a black car inside Vidholi forest. Sources say the marriage functions will begin 1600 hours onwards.

Meanwhile  celebrations  were  going  on  at  Teg Bahadur Road residence in Dehradun,  which happens to be Sakshi’s cousin Abhilasha Bisht’s residence. Abhilasha is an IPS  office posted at Uttarakhand Police headquarters. Sources told ‘Haldi hat ceremony’ was held today morning which was attended by the close relatives of Sakshi.

A  large section of media arrived at Dhoni’s would be sister in law place and  also on the marriage venue located in Vidholi in the outskirts of capital.  Police however has made adequate arrangements to keep media and ‘unwanted friends’ away from the both the spots.
