The 68-year-old O'Neal, who has dated Fawcett, 62, since 1980 and "used to ask her to marry me all the time," popped the question again recently and she said yes, he has told
ABC. The two will wed "as soon as she can say yes," O'Neal said.
"I've asked her to marry me, again, and she's agreed," O'Neal, 68, has said in an exclusive interview with Barbara Walters.
O'Neal described Fawcett's deteriorating condition, saying the 62-year-old iconic actress is "fighting for her life.
