The second installment of
Murder 2 will neither have sleaze queen Mallika Sherawat nor smooch king Emraan Hashmi. Instead the sequel would feature
Aladdin actress Jacqueline Fernandes.
Jacqueline Fernandes will step into Mallika's sexy shoes for
Murder 2, a film
based on the Nithari killings. Mukesh Bhatt told
Mumbai Mirror, "The only criterion for the lead girl is that she has to be really sensuous."
The role was offered to a lot of actresses but they all turned it down.
Mahesh Bhatt tells the tabloid, "We have been meeting a lot of actresses including Bipasha Basu, Mallika Sherawat and Sonal Chauhan. I was keen to have Mallika but it didn't work out. Even with Bipasha there were some issues. Mohit Suri is a very hard to please director. He is not able to make up his mind about the heroine."
