A study by a British newspaper shows the recession has hit the country's wealthiest industrialists and businessmen. Steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal's family members keep their position as the wealthiest people in Britain with 10.8 billion pounds ($15.9 billion, but they are 61 percent poorer than
they were last year. Second on the list is Russian businessman Roman Abramovich. He's worth 40 per cent less than last year, at 7 billion pounds ($10.2 billion)
Mohammed al-Fayed who owns luxury store Harrods went against the trend and is 17 per cent better off this year. He is worth 650 million pounds ($956 million).
