many actresses, delivering many hits with them.
No wonder, newbie Jiah Khan is hopeful about the prospects of a blooming career post her pairing with Akshay in Housefull. “It’s a fact that Akshay Kumar has been a lucky mascot for many actresses. He is such a fantastic human being. Whether as an action hero, or in a comic role, or as the romantic lead, he is just superb,” the actress gushed.
The actress admits that a few things have gone wrong with her career in the last few years, though she is hopeful about the future. “I believe everything is not in my hands. I believe God has aided me in my journey. It is He (God) who will decide how my journey will be in the film industry,” said Jiah.
“Of course Housefull (set to hit the theatres on April 30) is a great prospect for me. Akshay is such a huge star and I am one of his leading ladies in the film. Still, the thought of my career seeing a great push after the release of the film is a little scary,” added Jiah.
