Actress Cate Blanchett collapsed with blood oozing from the back of her head after being hit by a prop on stage.
The Oscar-winner was injured when her co-star Joel Edgerton threw a radio during the performance of
A Streetcar Named Desire. Mirror.co.uk. reports that the event was
cancelled after the actress collapsed.
"She had blood streaming down the back of her head and on the back of her neck," said a source.
Added a spokesperson for Sydney Theatre Company: "She sustained a blow to the head."
